Kristen LePine holds an MFA in Dramatic Writing and is the author of numerous stage plays. Selected full-length works include Foolish Fire, winner of the Firehouse Theatre New American Play Award; Leto Legend, reviewed by The Washington Post as “nicely balanced by LePine’s wry humor, and it wraps up with a satisfying rush”; and Cracked Pots, a finalist for the Gulf Shore Playhouse New Works Festival.

LePine has written play commissions for AccokeekCreek Theatreco, Fairfax County Public School District, the Hub Theatre, Theatre J, and Youth for Advocates. Her original plays have been produced and staged at Georgia College and State University, the Firehouse Theatre, the Hub Theatre, Inkwell, Intersections Arts Festival, Northern Arizona University, Roundhouse Theatre, Pinky Swears Productions, Pittsburgh New Works Festival, Studio Theatre, Spooky Action Theatre, The Kennedy Centers Page to State Festival, the Source Festival, and Theatre J’s Locally Grown Festival. 

Kristen lives in Northern Virginia where she is working on her debut novel.
